Sebastian Stan invokes The Godfather Part II while keeping his Batman role firmly secret
Sebastian Stan says he does not want to inflate expectations for The Batman: Part II. His chosen method was to walk onto Matt Reeves' set and occasionally feel as though he might be making The Godfather Part II. It is an absurdly effective way to accomplish the opposite, but underneath the enormous comparison is a more useful observation: everyone involved appears acutely aware that this sequel has six years of expectation to justify.
