Twenty years later, the Stone house is about to become overcrowded at Christmas again. Searchlight has officially announced The Families Stone, with Tom Bezucha returning to write and direct and almost the entire surviving principal cast coming back. The new family disruption belongs to Kelly this time: he has fallen in love, and he is bringing the woman into the Stone Christmas gathering.
