Valor Mortis is betting on being the second purchase: $39.99 to survive October's release traffic jam

The most revealing part of Valor Mortis' $39.99 price is not the number. It is Lyrical Games' description of the game as something players can purchase alongside this fall's biggest releases. In an overcrowded calendar, the AA project is deliberately refusing to demand the entire entertainment budget.
