Beef Creator Lee Sung Jin Launches Lila Pictures at Netflix With Two New Series, Including an Ali Wong Reunion
Lee Sung Jin is expanding his relationship with Netflix through Lila Pictures, a newly established production company developing scripted television and feature films exclusively for the streamer. Announced November 4, 2026, the company already has two series in development: The Only Child, a limited drama starring Ali Wong, and Citizen's Arrest, a new series created by Beef writer Gene Hong. The venture also brings Hyunji Ward aboard as senior vice president of film and television. Neither series has an announced production schedule or premiere date.
