Stephan James has found a way to honor Carl Weathers beyond portraying him on screen. At the AFI Fest screening of I Play Rocky on October 24, 2026, the Canadian actor arrived in a custom-made white three-piece suit inspired by an outfit Weathers wore to the premiere of Rocky II. Created by Toronto tailor King & Bay, the look was a personal tribute to the late performer who made Apollo Creed famous. James explained the gesture to Variety as Peter Farrelly's film prepares for its November theatrical release.
