The Assassin(s) Takes Chuseok: 1.56 Million Admissions in Five Days in Korea

Several major releases were competing for Korean moviegoers over Chuseok. The Assassin(s) emerged with the largest audience. Released on September 23, Hur Jin-ho's new film finished its first weekend with 1,199,156 admissions and had already reached a cumulative 1,566,222 viewers by Sunday, according to the Korean Film Council.
