Arena Breakout — hardcore PC design became pocket-sized
Arena Breakout matters more as a cultural translation than as military fiction. MoreFun demonstrated that a phone could accommodate the weight, pacing and even some of the frustration of an extraction shooter without converting everything into five-minute matches. Kamona lacks truly memorable authored characters, but it provides exactly what the genre needs: a place where players create stories they may end up losing along with their gear.
