Forza Horizon 6: the Japan imagined by car lovers is not quite Japan
Forza Horizon 6 treats Japan with far more documentary care than its enormous automotive party initially suggests. Road references, 360-degree capture, local artists, seasonal recordings and car-meet culture give the setting real texture. The fantasy remains obvious, particularly in an almost empty Tokyo and a geography completely rearranged for driving pleasure. Playground Games has not made a realistic Japan. It has made the ideal Japan of somebody who never wants to leave the car.
