MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls — Marvel finally speaks with Arc System Works' accent
Tōkon does not deliver the huge Marvel campaign its roster might suggest, but it achieves something rarer: an adaptation that unmistakably carries its developer's signature. The five episodes are modest and occasionally predictable, yet their character work, artists and presentation give this collision of American comics and Japanese animation a genuine identity.
