Star Wars: Galactic Racer Review: Beyond the Jedi, a Galaxy Full of Adventure

By Vever

Star Wars: Galactic Racer proves that a Star Wars adventure does not need lightsabers to develop a strong identity. Its garages, racers and competitions depict a galaxy still living after its major wars. The writing is uneven, particularly around the protagonist and ending, but the world has rare vitality. Its 8/10 score recognizes how successfully it expands Star Wars rather than repeating its mythology.

PROS

Refreshing exploration of the Outer Rim.
Convincing underground racing atmosphere.
Memorable supporting characters.

CONS

Shade lacks personality.
Main plot is predictable.
