Nippon Sangoku will not end with the fall of Seii. A sequel is officially in production, and its announcement footage has already shown an older Aoteru Misumi. There is no release date and not even a confirmed format yet, but the speed of the decision makes considerably more sense once the numbers behind the first season are considered.
