Maha Harada's First Film Leaves San Sebastián with Two Awards
Maha Harada has spent much of her literary career writing about the spaces where art and ordinary lives meet. Her first feature as a director stays remarkably close to that territory. Muyou no hito, internationally titled In My Father's Room, has emerged from the 74th San Sebastián International Film Festival with two parallel awards before its Japanese theatrical release next January.
