Satisfactory: turning an entire planet into a factory is strangely relaxing
Satisfactory could have been the ultimate fantasy of industrial efficiency. It becomes something more human: a game where players spend hours making factories prettier than necessary, preserving obsolete production lines out of nostalgia or constructing monumental stations for six trains. Its corporate satire and official story remain light, but that restraint leaves room for the real narrative, physically written across the planet by every player. Work has rarely produced this much calm.
