British crime drama centered on Harry Da Souza, a fixer caught in the Harrigan family's violent power struggles.
There is not much suspense surrounding MobLand's future. Season 2 premiered globally on Paramount+ on September 18, while the service had already renewed the crime drama for a third season two weeks earlier.
The Harrigans are going back to war with one unusually comfortable piece of information: Paramount+ has already decided they are worth another season. MobLand Season 2 premieres September 18, while Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren are already officially confirmed to return for Season 3.
For several months, the behind-the-scenes version of MobLand sounded almost more violent than the show itself. Tom Hardy had supposedly been fired. Producers were allegedly exhausted. Helen Mirren was reportedly frustrated. Pierce Brosnan was somehow pulled into the feud narrative too. Then Paramount+ renewed the series with all three stars returning. At the Season 2 premiere, Brosnan finally offered a much smaller description of the scandal: a storm in a teacup.
For months, the biggest MobLand question was not what would happen to the Harrigans next, but whether Tom Hardy would still be there when it happened. Paramount+ has now removed the uncertainty by renewing the crime drama for a third season and confirming Hardy alongside Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan.
